One of the biggest challenges clients asked us to do was to design a content factory for online courses where once a week an updated product would be released in the catalog and sales people would have to learn in 20 minutes all the details of the updated product to sell it. In pocket courses of 15 to 18 screens plus quiz and final test, designed by me and my team at Gestum Solutions. The biggest challenge for this client (Subject Matter Expert) was to establish an educational design standard that could be replicated across all products in this home appliance manufacturer's production line. Each course was about 15 to 20 minutes long. It aimed to teach the store salesperson to know the product thoroughly and have the knowledge to offer it to future buyers. The client set a deadline for 2 courses per week. This was an exceptional success story, as my team and I managed to develop the educational project in record time. In addition, we met all the standardization, time and accessibility requirements demanded by the client. The goal was to launch more than 100 courses in the first year of the project. However, the project was extended and the L&D team exceeded all expectations, both in time and cost reduction.
